I started playing hockey at a very young age, well before any dryland training was associated as necessary to development. It wasn’t until after my days of playing competitive hockey that I started on the path of strength training. As my love for exercise and human movement grew, I knew I wanted to combine my two passions of Hockey and Strength Training. It was during my tenure at 24 HR Fitness that I started doing dryland for a couple of the California Cougars back in 2010. From there, I expanded on my career by becoming the strength and conditioning coach for both the California Cougars and Golden State Elite organizations. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to train Pro and Semi-Pro athletes in many sports, from hockey to basketball and MMA. Each experience has helped form more building blocks of knowledge to add to the evolution and development of the programing. I have always said that my greatest success are not only when each athlete reaches their goal, but when they walk away with the knowledge of how we accomplished it and why. With over 10 years of coaching ice hockey and over 50,000 hours of training, I decided to start KN Sports Performance to develop athletes to their full potential and spread my passion.
